These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and HorseRaceDatabase ("HRDB", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of horseracedatabase.com and any related datasets, APIs, exports, or services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing the Services or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

HRDB provides structured horse racing data infrastructure, including:

• Datasets - structured historical and daily-updated racing data (UK/IRE and Hong Kong), delivered as CSV, SQL, JSON or database dumps.
• API access - programmatic access to racecards, results and statistics. API products may be marked "Coming Soon" and are not yet available for live subscription until launched.
• Historical Exports - one-off or scheduled bulk historical data deliveries.
• Enterprise & custom integrations - bespoke schema alignment, ETL pipelines and dedicated support, governed by a separate enterprise agreement where applicable.

We may add, modify, or discontinue any part of the Services at our discretion, with reasonable notice to active subscribers where the change materially affects their subscription.

HRDB is a data and infrastructure provider. We do not provide betting advice, tips, predictions, or recommendations of any kind, and nothing in the Services should be construed as such. Any prediction or automation products referencing HRDB data are operated independently by third parties (such as AutoBetMaker.co.uk) under their own terms - HRDB is not responsible for, and does not endorse the outcomes of, any third-party product built on our data.

We take reasonable care to ensure data accuracy and take it from reputable sources, but we do not guarantee that data is complete, error-free, or uninterrupted, and we do not guarantee any financial, analytical, or operational outcome from using it. The Services are provided for informational, research, analytical and operational purposes only.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

Paid Services are billed through WooCommerce using Stripe and/or PayPal as payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details; these are handled directly by our payment processors.

• Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or annually, as selected) until cancelled.
• You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Prices are shown exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Subject to your active subscription and payment, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data you have purchased for your own internal business, research, or product purposes.

• You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute raw or bulk HRDB data to third parties without a separate written data redistribution agreement with us.
• You may build and offer products or services that use HRDB data (e.g. analytics, dashboards, automated tools), provided the underlying raw dataset itself is not redistributed as a competing data product.
• Enterprise redistribution, white-labelling, or bulk resale arrangements require a separate Enterprise agreement - contact our sales team.

Where API access is available, your use is also subject to rate limits and fair-use restrictions tied to your specific plan. You are responsible for keeping your API key(s) confidential; you are liable for activity performed using your credentials. We may suspend API access that we reasonably believe is abusive, exceeds fair use, or compromises the stability of the Services.

The Services, including our underlying database structure, software, branding, and documentation, are owned by HRDB or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any HRDB intellectual property to you beyond the limited licence described above.

You agree not to: scrape or access the Services beyond your subscription entitlement; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent access or rate limits; use the Services for any unlawful purpose; or interfere with the security or availability of the Services for other users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HRDB will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot be excluded by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that we reasonably consider harmful to HRDB or other users. You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time as described above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above; material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
